Microsoft will end mainstream support for the ageing search engine which will be rendered inoperable from June 15, 2022. The tech company announced the Internet Explorer's retirement by saying that the future of the search engine on Windows 10 is in Microsoft Edge.

Was anyone still using the browser? It is truly a sad day in internet history 😅.

RIP to the original internet browser 🕯.

About time, too - yet still there are legacy systems that "only work with IE" out there... I remember watching a boarding-card kiosk in a UK airport reboot one time: another dinosaur operating system - IBM O/S2 astonished
