the falling of these American Icons saddens me greatly ..... their sweet sweet music will live on ..... A Legend leaves a Legacy ..... & ..... their talent, shared with us ..... & ..... enjoyed by past generations, will live on for future generations to enjoy ..... we are in their debt ..... BB King RIP
didn't know he had a great influence on Clapton, whose track 'Cocaine' is regularly a favourite of mine on 'the Workers' jukebox in town ..... = ..... just for the sound of the music & timbre of Clapton's voice, not really the words truly speaking

He was also a big inspiration to Brian Jones who of course was the founder member of the Rolling Stones and their early music was heavily influenced by these American legends.

BB King played with the Stones at one of their concerts....He also had a great influence on Jimi Hendrix as well
Also don't forget this great man played at Glastonbury when he was 84. My son was there and he said he was brilliant
