Re: R.I.P. Sir Ken Dodd

I remember him slightly from when I was younger, quite entertaining I recall.
Very sad news, had no idea he was 90!

Re: R.I.P. Sir Ken Dodd

Up till 2 years ago he was a regular booking at our local Civic Hall.

He always sold out.

He was renowned for giving value for money and would always exceed the time he was meant to be onstage.

Opening line was usually 'If you booked that taxi for 12.30am you should cancel it now' Smiley Very Happy

Very funny talented comic and singer.

Re: R.I.P. Sir Ken Dodd

I was not a big fan of Ken Dodd but he was a legend. He made a lot of people laugh and kept going long after many of the newer so-called comedians will have been long forgotten.

Sad to hear of his death though he did have a good innings.
