R.I.P to my ex co-workers. heartheart

Thoughts are with friends and families who were unable to be with you.

I hope post pandemic, that your wonderful efforts will be recognised.

I hope, post-pandemic, that all the final year medical staff who were dropped in at the deep-end before even graduating get a fair chunk, if not all, of their student loan paid-off.

Don't tell me the Gov't can't afford it, either! Shirty

It's terrible whenever this awful disease takes someone away from us but especially so when it's the very people who help and take care of us without the necessary adequate protection.

Anyone else think that Matt Hancock is the biggest dickwit on the planet?

For someone, non medically qualified,  to say 'Staff are using too much PPE', shows he knows sod all about Cross contamination!!

Definitely agree with you @jonsie

Hancock has no brain, no compassion, no understanding, and won`t apologise for his failure to supply PPE and his comments on use of equipment.

and same can be said of that other dickwad Priti Patal, Home Secretary.

Other than the normal levels of stupidity, the thing that irked me the most is that they gave themselves a £10k allowance for working from home.
Really?
£10k to sit at home and work?
Unreal.

Unreal.

And a printer, computer and screens and webcam, possibly broadband too...

Or was that what the £10K was to help cover?

Money for the boys. (and girls, pretty obviously).

Whilst those jobless, through no fault of their own, will be lucky to see anything at all. Particularly if they were working for an agency (like my youngest lad).
