Such sad news. I loved her in Superman and other films she appeared in. And she was young at 69.

I believe I'm correct that she suffered a mental breakdown sometime ago. So I automatically wonder if it was suicide, which is why no reason for her death was given. They normally say when someone suffered through a long illness.

@Glory1 She had a manic episode back in 1996 a very public one but I know a few people that actually have worked closely with her over the years due to her Superman connection & I have been informed that she died in her sleep

Thanks for the info about how she died @Anonymous. I knew she'd had some sort of mental health issue and thought it was an actual breakdown. So appreciate the correction.
