I had the privilege of meeting and chatting with Gordon Banks in the 1980 when he was running a promotion company.
He was so friendly and was only too willing to listen to me talk about England winning the World Cup in 1966 and even signed a commemorative book of the event, which is one of my treasured possessions.
A truly great footballing legend.
Sadly missed and I hope that the call for awarding him a postumous knighthood is granted.
RIP Gordon
