Glenys Kinnock died peacefully in her sleep with her husband nearby.

She had been MEP (Member of the European Parliament) for Wales for quite some time ..... minister ... & ... made a Baroness in the House of Lords.

She came across as a strong but never 'rowdy' woman.

Her son, who is a Labour politician, has said she was a very strong person.
