Hi all.

Encouraged by 2 fab community members to create this new topic. Hope you like.
Thought this could be a nice space to share some of the poems we have written and inspire each other with our creativity. Poems are a way for me to voice whats going on in my head especially when my anxiety has left me feeling somewhat foggy headed.

Hope you enjoy reading and sharing your work.

Pennywren 😊

Only just caught up with your "Lone Wolf" poem @Pennywren

I too like wolves and your poem creates lovely images of a wolf.

Slightly off topic, I know you have created some wonderful pictures of wildlife, have you ever done one of a wolf?

I`d love to see it if you have.

Just love this thread @Pennywren

I too have a thing about the Northern Hemisphere grey wolf

On several Facebook groups regarding them

They are elusive creatures

Top Dog in a pack of grey Wolves is not male

Only Top She Wolf can have cubs

I'd be the scraggy female wolf at the back of the pack

Non-threatening but tolerated ... and ... allowed to look after the Cubs ... last to the kill, of course, eating alongside the Cubs ... that'd do me

In the Northern hemisphere ..... North America, not Russia

Saw a documentary on tv ... evidence of a pack of grey wolves ... but .... no actual sightings of any wolf.

RunrigForever I love wolves so much. Would love to be able to see them in person and take some photos of them. In the past I have created cards around wolves but not recently.

I think there is something lovely about your idea of being part of the pack being alongside the cubs.

I have a print of a lone wolf in my dining room @Pennywren

Means a lot to me. A dear friend (who died of cancer 10 years ago) sent me 3 framed prints of  Wolves Cheetah and a Lynx about 2 years before she died

That sounds very emotional @Cleoriff and very special
You are very in touch with the 'Big Cats' ... and ... very knowledgeable.

Such a beautiful story @Cleoriff. A print with heart and special emotions. Thank you for sharing that.

Sagittarius my Zodiac

I am a Sagittarius
My arrow always flies true.
Associated with Jupiter
And the 9th of all the Zodiac.
A winter baby
So I rely on my inner flame.
I run to the aid of family and friends
My hooves pound the soil
As I charge in to defend.
Half human
Half horse
Im unique but stay connected.
Turquoise balances emotions
As I can be stubborn
But always for the sake of others.
Let me ride to your aid
I race to be by my loved ones side.
No distance too far
No obstacle too great,
I care deeply about others
And my firey element burns brightly.
Think of me as a healer
As I seek out to soothe your troubled mind.
Let my fire burn away the negative
And kindle light and hope within those flames.

Oh, I'm a soft touch for Big cats and all of nature really. Elephants, Giraffes, you name it and I'm fascinated by it Lol. Great channel on Sky called Sky Nature and I'm always watching it. The only wild animal I'm not keen on are hyenas. There again, they are part of the 'circle of life' but I'm not keen. yahoo

I like your Sagittarius poem @Pennywren .

I`m a Capricorn so next zodiac sign along... don`t know much about traits etc for zodiac signs, so don`t know if they apply to me
