Headline : Twitter to make reporting abuse and blocking 'easier'

Excerpt from the Link "Twitter is making changes aimed at allowing users to report abuse or offensive content more easily.
A new reporting procedure, changes to the way users block others and new ways of dealing with reported tweets are among the changes outlined by the social network."

My thoughts :

A good idea to help control such activities of people online.

Giving the both parties a 24-hour ban until the issue was investigated would cut down on the cases of abuse. Nobody would want to be out of the loop, that way a dispute investigator could properly make the decision on who is at fault.

I feel the Block/Report option as convenient as it is, is an under-the-rock solution. Facebook has this option for a long time.
