News : That bendable iPhone 6 screen isn't a feature.

Headline : That bendable iPhone 6 screen isn't a feature (update).

Excerpt from the ~ Link "Not sure if you want to hide your shiny new iPhone's newfangled design in a bulky case? Maybe you should -- apparently, it's quite pliable. iPhone 6 and 6 Plus users on Twitter seem to be finding small, but noticeable bends just south of the handsets' volume controls. Front-pocket storage is all it takes to give the handset a gentle slope, according to some users, but it can be bent other ways too. Back pockets and malicious YouTube users (video from Unbox Therapy after the break) can both bend the device to their will."

My Thoughts :

Of Course phones do have some 'give' ,but this is enlightening news !

Not uncommon for large screened phones, one reason why I never put mine in back pocket.

The news article suggests even the front pocket can do it...

I saw some articles on this yesterday so popped into the Apple Store yesterday after work.

To take a look.

The phone does have some play in it but if it didn't then it could crack etc.

Obviously being careful not to damage the demo model and not being challenged by shop staff I couldn't see any issues I'd be concerned with.

It's going to be interesting to see how Apple deal with people returning any iPhone 6 plus under this issue ,and if they'll swap them straight out.

Interesting to see (in the first posted article) that 'just for laughs' a similar test was done on the Note 3

It seemed to take the strain far better...:smileywink: ....quelle surprise...
