HEADLINE : "Parents unaware of dangers faced by children on smartphones"

With a massive majority of households now on the internet wether at home or on their smartphones , how can parents not know of the possible pit falls and dangers of smartphones, and what they can access !

With so much help and advice available I'm dumbfounded that a person in today's society can be unaware.

Hey BoB,

What does the parental control allow you to do exactly?

I'm assuming its a time limit on certain apps and on purchasing?

Cheers guys.

I'm not a parent yet, but being one must be scary at times with the amount of potential facets of information accessible to children.

I've always been a advocate of education over inhibition in these cases, but how much education is too much? How much positively beneficial awareness of these issues would also inspire a child to explore them pro-actively?

Hi Toby.

Curiosity can play a part, yes.

I went through the pro' and con's with each of my children ,and then trust has to come into play.
