Skype app will no longer function on Froyo or lower....

Whilst that maybe bad news for some this transcript from Samsung's live chat is hilarious (it's good to know it's not just O2)......

It's on the second link I posted above (I think) - It won't work prior to iOS6.

Edit:

What’s even more bizarre is that Microsoft support Skype on relatively old Android and Apple mobiles – Android 2.3 or higher and the iPhone 4 or newer, running iOS 6 or higher. Why support third party platforms for longer than you provide your loyal customers on your own products?

Appears to be a weird disjointed decision.

I can't find any official statement from them explaining why ( if they'll ever release one ! )
