As you say @Anonymous ...how very novel!
I just wish that things were a bit more relaxed in Spain. The whole set up of going into any phone shop
on the Costa Del Sol is a lengthy nightmare. One may as well take a packed lunch.
To take out a contract on a phone here, involves production of passports and other ID security checks.
I might add this happens in Orange and Vodaphone shops as well as other outlets
If you are any other nationality but Spanish, you will have to come back the following day to collect your
phone.
I use the Orange shop to do my computer dongle top-up. If you arent there, first in the queue,
then forget the rest of the morning....
Even this process is long winded. The sales assistant has to get on the phone to Orange CS in Spain
to authorise and activate the top-up (nothing simple like activating it via her own in-store computer)
So well done France. Maybe Spain will do the same....when they realise it IS the 21st Century

I'll drink to that!
Seriously, the day is coming when we'll do everything online or in kiosks and not have to see or speak to anyone. Not in my lifetime thankfully!

I am slightly different now....'Back in the day' I loved nothing more than joining a gang of friends for a
shopping spree! NOW, I would rather stick pins in my eyes
In fact my family know my shopping habits very well...
i.e. " If it can't be bought online...it doesn't get bought".....
