WoW that figure is astounding.
Personally I use the Facebook ' Paper' App which does not require the separate download.

That is a lot of users indeed! I see more and more message notifications in my Facebook messenger tab, but can't read them because I haven't yet downloaded the separate messenger app myself. I was just thinking today that I should finally download it, but perhaps I will try this "Paper" first. I like the idea of having the chat included in the main app again. 
Doesn't surprise me too much the number!
I'm sure in a few years they will have double it
