I feel that this study doesn't take into account those who do both at the same time. I for example have fallen asleep on my computer (keyboard) before. That should even out the results a little bit.

Well as that includes TV and Radio then I'm not that suprised.
About half of that 8 hours was TV so they are seriously underestimating our usage

I always take these stats with a pinch of salt. Who are these people to decide normal or average. No one has ever asked me my opinion or my own particular time online. Gawd what I wouldn't give for 8 hours sleep!
Stuff and nonsense!

That research seems very flawed.
Who formed the 'study group' they used to do this so called research?
I get infuriated with articles like this.....based on very little evidence and making headlines !!
I bet they didnt use many folk in my age group...they probably think we are far too busy knitting or gardening...
or, even worse...taking long naps throughout the day!
Pffftttt ....

Research is a bit of a science really. You ask for monkey's and you get bananas.

Also...having done plenty of research in my 'previous life' I am well aware of how research can be manipulated to get the results you want...Or even to make 'Headline News'

Don't forget the grammatical errors @Anonymous ....:smileywink:
Seriously...I honestly think this research is flawed, for the sole purpose of making so called news
Additionally with the rapid advances in this type of technology it does smack of 'Telling us the obvious'
