New film releases in October

Hi guys!

Lots of awesome movies coming out (or already did) this month - which ones are you excited about?

There's a few that have come out already in Oct, including the Girl on the Train which is supposed to be pretty good, and also something "funny, disgusting and unforgettable" called The Greasy Strangler. Anyone seen either of these yet?

Which ones from the list would you like to go see? Not sure if I like Benedict Cumberbatch that much normally but I'm waiting for Doctor Strange a lot actually!

I would go for someone like Bruce Willis but the problem with the 1st film was that whilst it stayed true to the story, huge amounts were simply missed out to condense it into just under 90 minutes. It really didn't do the book justice. 

Anyone who hadn't read the book may have been happy with the film but I wasn't. 

Again, with the trilogy Millennium, Stig Larsson would have been turning in his grave!

I think Ben Affleck could make an interesting Jack Reacher. Seeing him pumped up in Batman convinced me (As Jack is my height in the books and Affleck is not far off)

So many could play Jack Reacher but when I see you 5 foot nothing tom Cruise I just get awful visions of platform shoes, stilts and camera angles. Jack Reacher is 6 foot four or thereabouts so reality does come into it for me. 

I wonder what Lee Child's thinking is.... Or is it all about the money?

Hi @jonsie ... going along from something you have said above  ^  ^  ^  in the thriller genre David Baldacci's The Camel Club is a series, I don't think it's been made into a film, so much would not fit into 90 minutes of screen time, but I can recommend the books
