Hey guys,
There has been an announcement today explaining some of the new features that will be added in the next system software update 4.00 for the PS4 codenamed ‘Shingen'.
Not all the details have been announced but those in the beta testing program will be able to access the new software version tomorrow. Some of the new features are listed below.
UI refresh
Changes to the user interface to make it easier to use.
Quick Menu
Faster quick menu which can be used without leaving the game.
Share Menu
A similar improvement as the Quick Menu.
Folders and Library Organisation
The ability to sort Library content in to folders.
Trophy Improvements
Changes to icons and the ability to view Trophies offline.
User Profile
Changes to the user profile such as comparing Trophies and seeing recent Shared content.
You can read a more detailed description of the update here
Personally I'm most excited about the folders and the ability to sort my ever growing list of content. How about you guys, which of these changes are you most looking too?

Nice! Paydays coming up so I think I'll grab a copy then. At least there's no danger of all the planets getting explored before I get on it

Yep, thumbs up here
Couldn't agree more! It was pretty apparent the game really wanted you to leave the planet with all the times it flashed up that it was your objective but I was happy just to go exploring for a few hours, crafting stuff, gathering valuable resources to re-sell, learning the Vy'keen alien language and discovering artefacts. But then I did leave the planet and the flying is so much simpler than it is with Elite Dangerous - that was such a painful learning curve that game, so great to see simpler mechanics (that still do exactly what they need to, might I add!) for this game.
Some weird and wonderful creatures on these planets - don't go near the killer teddy bears!!!
