Hey everyone,

The Natural History Museums Wildlife Photographer of the Year is one of the biggest wildlife photography competitions on the planet. The 2019 winners have been selected and they really don't disappoint!

There were some truly amazing images across all categories from both adults and children. As usual with these photo comp threads I've picked out a few of my favourite images and shared below. I'd love to see your best pics from the winners!

You can see the winners gallery at the Natural History Museum website

If you had to pic a favourite which one would it be @Mi-Amigo?

Same here @TallTrees! I've got a fairly decent compact camera but I can't get somewhere near the quality of these images.

Very hard to choose @Martin-O2 but it would be between the penguins and the eagle ones...

I always think a penguin huddle is one of the greatest wonders of the natural world. They move on a rotational basis, so those on the outside who are feezing, manage to get into the middle to be warm. I watch this on a David Attenborough programme ...it was done on a time lapse film and it was brilliant/

PS for those of us interested in nature, I watched the start of an excellent series yesterday. It was called The Earths greatest Spectacles. Last night was about the wonderful trees in New England USA. It followed the trees from winter through to the glorious display in Fall (Autumn)

Not only about the trees but the animals and birds which inhabit this area. I wasn't aware that the magnificent colours are due to the sugar and maple in the bark of the trees.

On BBC 2.
