Sorry, but you can't stay away from bad news for long. More than 30 reported dead.

Never ending isn't it? FGS....better to stay at home.....

Just want to say here that the security at Malaga and Birmingham airports yesterday was highly noticeable. Guards outside with guns at Malaga....and going through security was nightmarishly slow. Not complaining at all...but it seems that everywhere is on major alert...

Everyone needs to be on alert not just the authorities. But at the moment these people seem to be one step ahead of those in charge of our security and safety. I mean, a church of all places but I suppose it was inevitable. What next....

My friend is going to Paris this weekend, and I'm not going to be content until they are safe home again. But then. . Nowhere is safe now x

You can't put armed guards everywhere unfortunately but we must not let them win either.

That's the big problem. But at the moment they are winning.

Only if people stay indoors and don't do anything, surely?
They are winning at terrorising people, but is it stopping them doing anything?

Not at the moment and people are just getting on with life. But....They can strike at a church, at a youth party, at a concert....how long before people are afraid to go to public gatherings and live their normal lives?

I went to Bangkok at the weekend and we visited the shrine where a bomb went off 12 months ago, for the whole time we were there I was continually looking for anything out of the ordinary. OK it didn't stop us going but people really need to be vigilant, take their noses out of their phones and look around in between the inevitable photo posing.
