Hi guys,

As its International Worker's day/ Labour day/ May day, we thought we'd ask everyone about their heavenly or hellish jobs slight_smile

My best job is of course this one ;), but my worst was cleaning football viewing stands. Very boring!

How about you all? What are the best and worst jobs you've ever had?

Or it's just the proof that our preclinical emergency medicine (stay & play wink ) is very good.  grin

But to be fair: It was just on this unit like that, the other (surgical ward) team was awesome and they showed me very much - like taking blood on my own and all such things - I like that ^^

My son has quite a bit of experience treatment-wise and has had no problems at all over the years. Same here in Thailand, ok no NHS but cleanliness and care are first class

Last time I went to an NHS hospital I met a nurse from the Phillipines and she was not too impressed with our basic hygiene standards, like surgery being performed while wearing outdoor clothes.

Sadly true in a lot of hospitals these days.

Very variable standards throughout the NHS in UK...Quite proud that my hospital still maintains a hign rating (even though I no longer work there) Bouncy

I recently had reason to visit a terminal cancer friend in Bolton and was appauled at the standard ofcare and cleanliness in Royal Bolton Hospital. Royal?  With all the local funding cut to the bare bones I suppose it's inevitabLe but the difference when he was moved to the Hospice was a steak contrast. Private funding. ....
