As @pgn and @sheepdog said, it'd be really hard to keep doing my job without internet Even personally, I use it for music, TV shows/movies, shopping, etc ... I can live without internet for a few days if I'm on holiday in a remote place, but no more than that I reckon!

Yes being out of work would make it difficult to cope but I think you'd adjust quicker then you would think. It would definitely not be fun though.
