I'm not sure if my Kindle is one of those in the list. I'm not exactly sure what mine is called as it just said "All-New Kindle" when I bought it recently. The update option was greyed out in Settings so I think I have the latest version though. Thanks for the heads up @Anonymous !

Yes you have the latest version @Marjo so you won't have any problem. I have the 8 which automatically updated recently.

Any and all bits of kit that are connected to the 'net at home either update automatically by default or if auto update is an option I tend to enable it as spend enough time at work having to persuade people to carry out regular restarts and actually let security and other updates install.
"We're too busy!" is usually the cry.
