Very sad news ....... I believe he had Alzheimer's disease ....... he passed away peacefully in a care home.

Lord Prescott R.I.P.

He will be remembered for throwing a fisty punch to a pro hunter who cracked an egg on John's head ....... way to go John.

He started out as a steward on cruise ships ..... 10 years deputy prime minister to Blair ....... did a lot of good work at the Kyoto global warming world conference to keep it on track.

Remember when he championed regional 'government' .......
