Supposed to be on a ramble, but we are under an amber warning for rain. Probably we will all go to the pub lunchtime.

Just about to watch 1st pactice.....followed by 2nd practice interspersed with tennis......I like Fridays in July.

Better still it looks as if we might not see the deluge here until much later this afternoon perhaps even as late as this evening.......the lawns need cutting so that's on the "to do" list but below the sport.

Well the lawns wanted doing badly after 2 short trips abroad but I took advantage of a good spell of weather yesterday between 11.00am and 4.00pm. Just managed to get them done before the heavens opened!:smileyhappy:

Definitely F1 for the weekend, Wimbledon only if Murray gets through to the final and Sunday lunch at my son's with the grandkids. Possibly small amounts of alcohol interspersed with the activities:smileywink:

Stocking up on supplies of an alcoholic nature, sandbagging front and back doors, watching Wimbledon and Formula 1.

I've just seen my nearest town Castleford disappearing under water on the BBC news, could be a fun weekend!Smiley LOL

River Aire looks a bit threatening.

Looks awful at Silverstone too, campsites are flooded and there are 10 miles of tailbacks on the approach roads.

Long range they're now saying it'll be a washout for the Olympics too. slight_frown

Nope, it's the same sort of weather there and you start steaming when it rains.
