An app which enables healthcare professionals to share photos is to be rolled out across western Europe by the end of the year.

The app was designed to enable doctors to share pictures of their patients, both with each other and with medical students.

Wow....not sure about the ethical ramifications of this. There would have to be very strict controls I should imagine...

They would HAVE to ask for permission......and not sure I would give mine unless I knew a lot more about how it was controlled.

Can you imagine if one of the phones was lost...or stolen?....

Not sure of the legal ramifications either, knowing the various body parts doctors deal with....

If Doctors would cut out (sorry, unfortunate choice of words) all the nonsense and spend a little more time actually meeting PEOPLE, examining them and listening to them the NHS would be in a better state.  Seems to me they will do just about anything to avoid face to face consultations.
