IT abbreviations .....

what do they stand for/what do they mean/what are they used for

HyperText Markup Language : HTML or HyperText Markup Language is the standard markup language used to create web pages.

HTML = Hyper Text Markup Language
URL = Uniform Resource Locator
http = Hypertext Transfer Protocol
jpg = actually it's JPEG - Joint Photographic Experts Group
mms = Multi Media service

Ethernet is the technology used to connect a more than one computer to another or many computers.

Very quick there...I was just about to say I know its a type of cable...of which we have many in our house linking things....LOL
