Topic.
Well OK it wasn't the £80 Million, but according to my checks on the Lottery website it's worth 5 and half quid!
Won £18 week before last on Friday night Euromillions as well.
Hopefully it's an omen that we'll win at least a tenner tonight, we got 4 numbers last week and won £69!
Anyone else had any Lottery luck lately?

Don't need a job then

Can we not go there please? I have been trying for 21 years to get a job, but because I can't work full time, and I have disabilities, no one will employ me, therefore I am destined to a life on benefits, Daily Mail = bite me.

You paying for the lottery with benefits? Must send an indignant letter to my tax office. No wonder I have to pay so much tax.

Richard if i may ask what disability do you have that stops you from being employed ?
My opinion is that DLA and other benefits are given to a person in order to allow a person to pay for essentials.
If your essential is £2 for a Euromillions ticket then so be it.

I am deaf, have mobility problems, and crucially, have Asperger's syndrome, a mild form of autism, almost nobody outside of the medical profession and autism specific organisations knows or understands Asperger's, including most employers, so as soon as I put on an application that I have it, they run a mile.
Not my fault, or problem.
I've even applied for Council jobs under the "2 ticks" schcme where you get a guaranteed interview if you declare your disability, and they still won't employ me! Because as I#ve been sayng for years, the Disability Discrimination Act, which came in in 1995, is not worth the paper it's written on IMO, because no Government has ever enforced it, not the Tories, nor Labour.

When the DDA Act came in the company I worked for spent time and money bringing its employees up to speed with most of its guidelines.
Did you not apply to work for Remploy ?

Not directly although I have been with the local branch of Remploy trying to get a job, only thing with them is, their company policy when applying for jobs is for the client not to declare their disability, eh? To me this is dishonest and proves what I've been saying for years, employers automatically bin applications from the disabled cos they think we aren't "normal" (define "normal"!).
Also, the Remploy factory in Sheffield closed 2 years ago in a range of cuts by the company, besides which, I would've refused to work there on principle, I've done that kind of work, it's hard work, a long day, and because the clients are all on benefits, the "pay" doesn't even meet minimum wage.
