November 21st is the start date for this years series. Due to covid restrictions, the show will be held in Gwrych Castle in Wales again and hosted by Ant and Dec.

The contestants have been named

Simon Gregson (Plays Steve McDonald in Coronation Street) Last year Beverley Callard who plays Steve's Mum Liz was on the show.

Adam Woodyatt (who plays Ian Beale in Eastenders)

Arlene Phillips. Ex SCD judge. At 78 Arlene is the oldest contestant to appear on the show

Frankie Bridge (Singer from The Saturdays)

Richard Madeley TV Broadcaster

Matty Lee (Diving Partner of Tom Daley)

Naughty Boy (never heard of him but is a DJ and music producer.)

Danny Miller. (Plays Aaron Dingle in Emmerdale)

David Ginola (ex Footballer)

Kadeena Cox (Olympian Gold medallist)

Louise Minchin (TV broadcaster)

DJ Locksmith (DJ another one I haven't heard of)

Snoochie Shy (Model and TV presenter. Who?) 😂

So there we are. Some good, some bad and some I've never heard of. Really looking forward to it.

Tbh I didn`t think NB would down the disgusting drinks like he did and also thought Frankie did well drinking all but one of hers.

I thought it was slightly better show with more chat in camp but was disappointed there was no coin challenge.

David and Danny joking about NB doing all the trials shows what camp is thinking which still makes we wonder why the public continue to vote for NB to do keep doing the trials.

Tonight`s [Friday`s] should be interesting as Matty is going to be given a chance for a bit more screen-time.

Friday 03 Dec

Show opened with Danny mentioning sleeping next to David snoring. Simon asked campmate about their karoake song. David sang in French.

Main Trial - Gruesome Gargoyles - NB and Matty. Three tunnels with gargoyles. NB had to put hand in thru gargoyle to release stars on rope for Matty to untie.

Tunnel 1 gargoyle 1 - NB covered in mealworms, Matty untied star; gargoyle 2 - NB covered in crickets, Matty untied star; gargoyle 3 - NB faced rats, only 15 secs to do task Matty failed to untie star in time

Tunnel 2 gargoyle 1 - NB faced toads, Matty untied star; gargoyle 2 - NB faced cockroaches; Matty untied star;

gargoyle 3 - NB faced creatures, Matty untied star; gargoyle 4 - NB faced creatures, Matty untied star.

Tunnel 3 gargoyle 1 - NB faced lizards, Matty untied star; gargoyle 2 - NB faced birds, Matty untied star;

gargoyle 3 - NB faced snakes, Matty untied star; gargoyle 4 - NB faced creatures, Matty untied star.

NB and Matty got 10 out of 11 stars [Sorry I didn`t note all creatures NB faced].

In camp, Danny chatted with David about being homesick and missing his baby.

Castle Coin Challenge - Arlene and Simon Nursery Rhymns. Simon dressed as Humpty Dumpty. Had to solve which nursery rhymns from notes in book and play them on keyboard. Completed challenge. Went to hut. Choice - gingerbread men or choc mini eggs. Chose mini eggs. Q to camp, what percent of hoseholds share household chores - 33% or 45% ? Camp chose 33% which was correct. Arlene and Simon [still dressed as Humpty Dumpty] returned to camp, Two mini eggs for each celeb.

Kadenna gave account of dealing with MS episodes. Very moving.

Celebrity luxuru item challenge. Celebs had chance of winning their luxury item. Had to find right four keys out of 200 by solving riddles to open four safes with names of celebs . Two shouted out riddle and camp mates had to find key with answer. Succeeded in opening all four safes.

Sorry I didn`t manage to note luxury item for every celeb but did note Adam got a chair; NB got pillow with photo of his mum; Frankie got a camera to take pix of celebs and time in IAC; Matty got a sleep mask; Simon got pillow with pic of his wife and kids; David got a pair of slippers.

Ant and Dec went into camp to announce public vote for three celebs who will be doing tomorrow night`s Main Trial - Cells of Hell.... Adam; David; and [once again] NB.

I thought it was a much better show. The Main Trial didn`t seem as easy as some NB has done and Matty was pleased to do one and was good to see him getting a bit of TV coverage. The Coin Challenge was fun with Simon as Humpty rolling off the wall to get the book which was the answer to the music clue. And was nice to see the celebs reaction to getting their chosen luxury item.

He is a music composer/DJ called Naughty Boy. As he is getting so much airtime @jonsie we shortened it to NB. No, there have been no eliminations as yet. Still 11 celebs. Richard Madeley had to leave as he was ill on the 3rd night and was taken to hospital. There was nothing wrong with him but he broke the Covid bubble so had to leave the show.

The public keeps voting for NB to do trials, which was funny initially as he was so scared. Now he is used to to them, it gets boring.

@Mi-Amigoand I take turn in doing the write ups but he writes far more than me as I can't see the point.😂 As only he and I watch it, we could condense it into about 20 lines. No disrespect to @Mi-Amigo at all but he is a great storyteller. However, as I now type slowly, I would miss great chunks of the show when it's my turn to do the write up.

I thought the show was better tonight because...

1) It was longer and

2) The contestants got their luxury items.

I still think the trials are so much easier than they were in the Jungle which is why it has lost a lot of it's excitement.

 If that sounds a bit negative then take heart. I still love the show. It's the highlight of November for me and millions of others. This show wins a National Television Award every year since it first started.

It`s fair to say that I do get carried away with my write-ups on the show and appreciate your write-ups on the show. For me, it`s not so much about how much or how little is said but hope the posts might encourage others to watch, or if they also watch the show, will post what they think.

I`m a huge fan of IAC and have watched each series since the first, so that`s my excuse for being the IAC story-teller 😂

However, this will be my 3rd write up of the day, hence why I will be short and 😂sweet

Saturday.

Opened with camp mates deciding that NB was sleeping in hammock wrong way round.

David fixed it.

The Wishing Well.

This will go on for two days . Two camp mates locked in a cage. 3 cages and first one out had choice of coins

Out of the 6 they paired up as follows

1) David and Danny

2) Arlene and Adam

3) Louise and Kadeena.

That's how they released themselves in that order

Danny and David picked the coin which had Duvet and pillows on one side and Sleeping on floor in clink. Into the well it went and when it came up=Sleeping on floor in Clink

Arlene and Adam. Coin said 2 slices pizza or rice and beans in clink. Into well= came up rice and beans

Kadeena and Louise. Coin said do a challenge/ 1 min phone call to family. Kadeena very kindly said if they won the call she would let Louise have it. Coin into well= Phone call.

Lovely to hear Louise talking to husband and daughter. Everyone could hear and were delighted for her.

Then things turned a bit nasty. Kadeena was cooking rice and beans and NB said she shouldn't be doing it now. K pointed out she had been busy all day and NB could have done it. We know when Kadeena gets stressed it brings on MS symptoms but NB kept going on about how she spoke to him disrespecting him

(Personally I would have kneed him between his legs. Stupid idiot)

The trial Cells Of Hell

Each of them in a cell apiece with numerous lockers. Loads of offal and guts dropping in them. Key dropped to David first. He had to find a locker it opened. The locker was also filled with more offal and there was another key inside. He passed it to Adam who had to do the same with the lockers in his cell. Once Adam found the right locker, in he went to find another key. Once he found it, passed to NB who had to find the locker with a star in. NB was totally useless. Every time gunk dropped on him, he was screaming and asking Ant and Dec if they were sure there was a star in the locker. He took absolutely ages to not only find the key. then stars but put it in his bag. David and Adam found 7 keys. NB  only managed to unlock 4 lockers and find 4 stars. Stupid. He tried to make excuses that with Adam dropping them on floor he couldn't see them. Adam walked straight to his cell and said "Well I can see all 3 of them!) Made NB look a bit of a liar and a berk if honest. Good.

The camp had two revolting cods heads for the meal.

The next trial is called Gross Vegas. Matty was already chosen (No-one explained how that happened...unless I missed it) and YET AGAIN NB chosen to do it with him.(Sick of it).

Ant and Dec mentioned that evictions would start soon.

I thought the Wishing Well was just lterally a toss of the coin. Can`t see why this couldn`t have been more of a challenge as there was again n Coin Challenge. Pleased Kadenna gave the phone call to Louise who it meant a lot to.

NB and Kadenna`s continual row over the cooking is becoming tedious and annoying and NB is the one who should apologise for his behaviour.

The Main Trial was a joke. NB couldn`t deal with it, was hopeless and had to blame Adam when it was clearly NB`s fault they only got four stars. Worse still the "prize" was fish heads and added to that, once again, NB and Kadenna rowed over the cooking. NB needs to grow up and should apologise for his behaviour. As to the food, I  don`t know how any of them even wanted to eat that. Adam and Arlene seemed quite happy to be away from the arguments over cooking and cooked and ate rice and beans in Clink. For me, that showed what many are thinking.

There was no clue from Ant and Dec as to why Matty was already chosen to do tonight [Sunday] trial. As was said on the show, IAC is becoming the Naughty Boy show with NB again chosen to do tonight`s trial.

Viewers are going to be given the chance to vote off the first celeb tonight. My wish is NB goes but have a sneaky feeling NB won`t be voted off. IF that`s the case, it`ll do nothing to improve the show and could see fans turning off.

I belong to an IAC group on FB. Re Matty, as you know, the days are all out of sync and apparently when Matty did the coin challenge, he was on his own (11 contestants). He chose a coin to do a challenge or phone call. It came up as do a challenge,  I expect we will see that tonight?

If they are voting off the first candidate tonight, I bet Arlene will go. That's my prediction for tonight.

F1 should be over, so hopefully I can watch IAC live. I will have to fit in SCD which I am recording, so a lot of viewing today (and no siesta 😂)

Sunday.

Show opened with Kadenna and Louise ging for run. In camp, Simon and David stripped off tops and danced t Full Monty. Louise told camp-mates abut how she met her husband.

Wishing Well part 2 - continued from last night. Coin flip.

Simon and NB = chores for rest of the day; Snoochie and Frankie = enntertain camp; Matty and Danny = phone call or trial, Danny said Matty shuld have phone call but lost coin flip so had to do trial [as mentioned by @Cleoriff in earlier post].

In camp, celebs chatted about body image and Snoochie mentioned her birthmark.

Trial - Gross Vegas. Four games. Matty and NB to do. Ant and Dec mentioned it was NB`s seventh trial.

1st game - Rotten Roulette. Two spins - to eat either pen-is or turkey test-icles. One chance of landing on star which meant didn`t have to eat anything. Turkey test-icles on both spins, which Matty ate = 2 stars.

2nd game - Deadly Deals. Danny and NB on table. 300 playing cards dropped, had to find 3 jokers. Covered in mealworms, magoots, bugs. Found 1 joker = 1 star.

3rd game - Snakes Eyes. NB had to find two dice each with one spot. 2 dice found = 2 stars.

4th game - Grot Machine. Slot machine spins, Danny and NB had to catch each of four items dropped with gunk. Managed to catch one out of four = one star.

Total 6 out of 11 stars.

Returned to camp. Meal - hare. Kadenna told not allowed to help. Celebs told last meal all 11 would share.

Each gave speach on time in camp. Frankie and Snoochie provided entertainment [as per Wishing Well trial] and got Simon and David to do dance-off which they voted was a tie.

Ant and Dec entered camp to tell celebs who had received the fewest votes from public and would be leaving. Announced vote was down to between Snoochie and Arlene and Arlene was voted off.

Arlene chatted with Ant and Dec. Mentioned facing her fears because of her grand-daughter, her time in camp, and looking after NB. Asked who she wanted to win IAC, Arlene said Naughty Boy.  

Show back tomorrow night. Lines open to vote to keep celebs in camp and lowest vote will be voted off tomorrow night.

No details of trial tomorrow or who will be doing it [unless I missed it]
