Funnily enough I still have one in the apartment. A video recorder and dvd player. A bit old hat now I have the WiFi box installed which will give them access to all films etc etc wink

Freeview obsoleted Video recorders literally overnight when we all went digital. I have one not too far away from my sight from along with a DVD player gathering dust next to the awesome CRT TV connected to a YouView box via scart. Even though I have digitised my DVD and music collection plus use NowTV a lot, its still not as fun as physically inserting a vhs tape and fast forwarding it for no good reason a la Benny Hill style . Sadly one thing designers took away from us in the digital age and you can never ever get to skip the warnings and adverts on digital unlike tape.
