Heads up: Bt Yahoo Mail Users.

I've received an e mail From Bt advising they are dispensing with Yahoo and one has to ensure they are ready for the change.

If you have not received this advisory e mail yet here is a link to what's happening and what you may have to do to make sure the changeover is seamless.

Your email address remains unchanged and seems to affect people using an IMAP account.

I use BT Yahoo mail in Spain. and it has been moved over for the past 3/12!

In the UK I use Incredimail, but never installed it on the netbook I use in Spain, so I would say I have been

logging into the new  email system since February whilst abroad....

I reviewed it a short while ago @Cleoriff but as I get around 200+ Approx e mails per day I don't always get round to opening them all as quickly as I should. 😞

I wouldn't have minded so much but I have NEVER received that email...

So with my 'limited knowledge' you can imagine my horror when I logged on happily, all seemed normal till I

tried to access my emails...only to find it didn't work the same way. ....

I then spent a good 15 minutes in a panic, clicking here there and everywhere trying to access emails via

the new route!!

BT have been talking about this move for at least a year.  Last info I had from a BT Support guy (in India I think) was that BT Yahoo email accounts would be "migrated" to the new BT Mail randomly. He said they were very nearly finished the process but had encountered server problems.  That was 4 or 5 weeks ago.  Never mind -  I can still send and receive emails and I can still come here to moan when the occasion warrants (except today which is a no moan day.)

Well I'm still on Bt yahoo and experiencing batches of e mails being pushed at intervals. 😞
