Rowetta is a friend of mine. You couldn't wish to meey a nicer person and she is also a great solo artist. I first met her at a Manchester Gay Pride festival around 15 years ago when the bank I worked for was involved in the organsation. She has since invited me to a number of her solo gigs where my wife and I always had front row seats, went backstage for after show drinks and sometims for a meal afterwards. Its been a number of years since I last saw her due to various events and changes in lifestyle. Good to see her on the box again shortly though.
