The very first iPad was released today by Apple, 7th Jan 2010 slight_smile

Have you got one of them? I'm a bit interested to know what do you like the most about your iPad and what should the next variant have? Look forward to hear some great suggestions!

Well we use our ipad3 cellular version for business Email on the go easier than typing on the iphone.

Apps that allow editing etc of ms docs

and the use of logmein to get access to my full desktop and raise invoices etc on the go and email direct to customers as though we were in the office.

Full size browser screen makes online banking etc easier

App that allows wifi transfer from my eyefi card in the dslr to view / store high res pictures on the go.

Guess it depends what you want out of a tablet. Fashion accessory or tool to help your business etc.

Panasonic have now released a 20" tablet (surely it needs a new name), or have they just removed the keyboards to get a few laptops shifted:

I wouldn't exactly call 20" portable. It's impressive but I'd be suprised if it sells.

Maybe embed it into a desk for schools.

That's a bit like the Microsoft Surface, I think they're a good idea.

Have you seen the new suits that have tablet-sized pockets on the inside?

Huge!

Ergh I won't be needing one of those.

Guess it was the obvious next step.
