Hi guys,
Did you catch this article yet? What do you think of the idea? There's a non-profit charity in the US that provides Halloween-themed (or whatever the kids want really) "costumes" for their wheelchairs.
"A team of volunteers spend about 120 hours building the costumes which range from aeroplanes to dragons."
The charity was started by a couple who wanted to give their 3 children's wheelchairs a makeover for Halloween. The first one the dad made was building a pirate ship around his kid's wheelchair. There's a photo in the article and it looks really cool. Other families started to get interested and that's how the organisation started.
They want to expand globally one day but are mostly still operating in the US.
Here's one that's modelled on the Quinjet from Agents of Shield (one of my favourite series actually) and it resulted in the "best Halloween ever" for the kid.
You can read the article on BBC here.
