Halloween on the sofa

Hi guys,

So, Halloween is coming soon.

For those of us who like to spend it at home instead of at Halloween parties and gatherings, I'd like to list here some ideas to get our homes in the correct Halloweenish mood!

What would you suggest for the soundtrack for example? Do you know any halloweenish songs?

I've put aside 4 films I've yet to watch for viewing on Halloween: The Boy, The Conjuring 2, Howl and Crimson Peak. The last being, I believe, more psycological rather than horror.

I love horror films and being scared - viewing films - so I shall sit back and enjoy.

And don't forget the clocks go back at 02.00 Sunday.

the ingredients are black vodka & orange juice ... I know nothing about black vodka, but the drink looks 'kool' 

I don't watch horror films, they give me nightmares even those comedy ones, I'm a bit of a wuss

It does indeed look cool @Anonymous and like you know nothing about black vodka. I like vodka - bloody marys being a particular favourite - but have only ever purchased white vodka. I must investigate and if I get any info will pass it on.

I have loved horror films since I was about 5. And, fortunately, never have nightmares. Few films really scare me. The Haunting (the original not the awful remake) still scares me. And I have watched it many, many times. I've also read the book and when I started reading it - sometime after midnight - I only read a few pages and had to stop. I was picturing the film as I read and every sound made me jump. Could only read the book during the day.

No I am back home @Toby (as from last Wednesday). I live in a cul de sac and only had 3 children (with parents) knock on the door. I saw no 'killer clowns' about ...THANK GOD

No killer clowns in my street either *sighs of relief* ... mainly old giffers like me live here-abouts, but was prepared with some sweeties which I shall now enjoy :smileyhappy:... however, on way home from the towns WMC though there were 2 lots of 2 youths in hoodies 'messing around' = I quickly, head down, got by them & key in door as easily as I could = there is a new posh housing estate near me (with some assisted housing, I believe & agree with) & since then I have noticed a change in the neighbourhood eg families
