Hi guys, hope you're having a lovely evening.

I very much enjoyed the various image games we used to have here in off topic, so thought I'd post a little challenge for you since it's been a while!

So I saw this thing today and took a photo of it:

Can you tell what the object in the photo is?

Interesting guesses, but nope! In this one I've zoomed in 325% from the original image. Another hint: it's currently sitting on my desk at work, however I should probably move it...
