Last night, the 2019 Golden Globe Awards took place and I don't know about you but I always like to keep an eye on the results clapper Here are the winners this year:

I'm enjoying watching them yes, ticks my boxes, not sure though if I was to read the book and then compare.

I just think it's a matter of personal choice. This sort of programme I normally love.

I just couldn't get into this one. Others will have a different opinion and thank goodness for that. wink

Right, I'll keep an open mind on this. I will check if it's in Prime or may buy the first season, I'll see.

 

I always try to watch a show before reading the book @dgilbert2.  That way it doesn't ruin my enjoyment. If I can't do that then I forget the book and just watch the programme. They never do a book true justice and what is enjoyable or interesting to read would be boring on film. An author can go into character detail that just can't be filmed.

 

I appreciate both of your views on this show, it gives me perspective and I'll give it a look if I can. Thank you both.
