Have deliberately left it a few weeks to allow the unlucky ones to get over their disappointment, but hopefully it shouldn't be quite so raw now....so, who was lucky and managed to get tickets?
After 3 hours of frustration a few weeks ago, I managed to bag mine. If any of you guys are going, would be happy to buy you a pint and the Cider Bus and have a catch up.
What do you all think of the rumoured headliners and couple of confirmed acts so far?

They usually do it every 6 years. The question many are asking is 'when will the tickets for 2019 go on sale?'
This was the sign seen on many bins

I might try and get a ticket for 2019. It's been a good few years since the last time I was there!

Enough to keep festival goers happy all summer. (Though Glastonbury fans do tend to think it's the only one worth going to)

I went to the Isle of Wight a number of times, the first time was 1970 and saw quite possibly the best set I have ever seen by The Who. Saw them at Leeds year's later but alas never been to Glastonbury and doubt I ever will. Sadly these days I watch it all on TV but you can't beat actually being there.

It wouldn't have been a problem in my younger days @adamtemp64 but these festivals are all the more enjoyable for me now, cuddled on ōur favourite reclining couch with a few beers and other refreshments.

Apologies for the radio silence folks, I was only back home for a couple of days and then away again for the weekend!
Wow, what an absolutely incredible experience - simply sensational. The weather held beautifully, although dare I say it the Wednesday was rather too hot. Granted I was only an hour in the queue off the coach, but that along with a wander up the hill in the afternoon were enough to turn me into a human lobster even with the factor 50 slapped on. Also the first time I've experienced beer being hotter than coffee
I went alone, and camped with an amazing bunch of people many of whom I'm sure will be firm friends for life. Really don't know where to start with the music and entertainment, as so many of the performances were simply out of this world. Perhaps a bit of a curveball, but my performance of the festival doesn't go to one of the headliners but instead to The Jacksons who blew it out of the park on the West Holts stage - I've never danced so much in my life.
Barry Gibb into Chic on the Pyramid, on a sunny Sunday afternoon with ice cold farm pressed cider was perfect, and then a double dose of the Bootleg Beatles not only waking us up on Saturday morning from the Pyramid but also packing out the Acoustic with a set to remember.
Other highlights have to be Ed Sheeran, who I think surprised many with his stage presence and engagement with the crowd, and I'll have to give a big shoutout to Sigrid who owned The Park and made a lovely, chilled out afternoon all the more special. Not forgetting Power Ballad Yoga with the rest of our camping group, what a laugh that was!
Only disappointment for me, as a big Oasis fan back in the day, was Lian G on the other stage, although I think that was more down to acoustics than a poor performance from him. Still gave us one of "those" Glasto moments when he ledus all in Don't Look Back in Anger though, which along with the peace sign was particularly poignant given recent events and the current state of the world.
And the best thing I did all weekend? Lost my phone! Yes, I did say best 😛 Because after leaving it on the grass by West Holts on Friday afternoon (don't worry, I remembered to pick up my pint!) I was no longer distracted by social media, work, emails and everything else that kept me from being fully immersed in the experience. The festival just got better from that moment onwards. And it gave me the excuse I needed to upgrade to the S8+ too
Roll on 2019...
