Glastonbury 2017

Have deliberately left it a few weeks to allow the unlucky ones to get over their disappointment, but hopefully it shouldn't be quite so raw now....so, who was lucky and managed to get tickets?

After 3 hours of frustration a few weeks ago, I managed to bag mine.  If any of you guys are going, would be happy to buy you a pint and the Cider Bus and have a catch up.

What do you all think of the rumoured headliners and couple of confirmed acts so far?

Well they did a live FB section. I can tell you there was a lot of beer about and Prodigy were blasting out very loud..

Stop! That will just make the next 3 and a half hours in the office drag even more. 😞 

I love my job, but I'm afraid with the sun shining and the festival looming it's not the most appealing place to be right now, haha! 

@Cleoriff are your friends working/volunteering at all? If so then they could have been on site for a few days already potentially - most if not all crew and volunteers are already in place. Lots of beer and Prodigy sounds good to me right about now.

@Wa10No they arent volunteering. They go every year (always been lucky with tickets) so as I say.. they were there yesterday with the tents set up and cool box showing ...with lots of alcohol

Wonderful gesture by 15,000 people at Glastonbury yesterday. They made the worlds biggest Peace Symbol

And due to the weather no traffic issues this year. !!!!!!!!!

No Glastonbury in 2018. Worthy Farm will be taking a fallow year to allow the land to recover...

Understandable in fairness. It won't be the same but I'm sure there will be an alternative venue somewhere.

It's good that they take the time to let the land recover! It's easy to forget the site is a functioning farm when the festival's not on.
