So Labour have eventally agreed to a general election. Apparently it probably will be in December!

The UK looks set for a December general election after Labour leader Jeremy Corbyn announced his party was ready to fight the "most radical campaign ever".

Mr Corbyn said his condition of taking a no-deal Brexit off the table had now been met after the EU agreed to extend the deadline until 31 January 2020.

Prime Minister Boris Johnson can only hold an election with the support of MPs - who have blocked it three times.

The PM will make a fresh attempt to get their backing in Parliament later.

The government bill published ahead of the Commons debate is for an early election on 12 December.

Some people see things as they are and ask "Why?"; I dream of things that never were and ask "Why not?"

Looks like Trump is also trying to influence the election.

Nothing to do with any vested interests of course.

Thing is, he's already said this already so its not really surprising he's popped up now for soundbites. Besides the British public won't notice anyway what any US President says though wouldn't be surprised if we get calls of interference from foreign powers when JC fails. No doubt we'll get numerous investigations based on a facebook post made 3 years ago treated as fact because it must have had an impact on the voting public.

It shouldn't be forgotten that the UK was kicked out of the US many years ago. The powers there would like to see us grovel (everywhere) 🤑

Trump trashes New York as dirty and unsafe

and leaves for Florida

I love the reply from Gov. Cuomo

Such a simple but telling remark that many feel.

All mouth and no trousers in public and a keyboard warrior the rest of the time.

If I was Trump I’d be more worried about assassination than impeachment.

Incorrect (in a quiz show manner). Great Britain was. GB and the UK (shortened from UK & NI) are strangely distinct and the latter didn't get formed till way after American Independence: source.

Do you think that would be allowed to happen? It would mean a state funeral and that would be the worse thing ever that he'd be remembered as a martyr in the eyes of his opposition. The consipiracy theorists would be pointing in unison to the trail of bodies attached to the Clinton name and the reputation of the security agencies would be well, worthless.
