Gatwick Runway Opens after Drone chaos

Gatwick's runway has reopened after drones caused the airport to shut down for more than a day.

Causing absolute chaos for 100,000 travellers pre- Christmas.

The airport felt this was a deliberate attack to cause as much upset to travel arrangements.

Airport authorities even called the army..

The last confirmed sighting of any drone was at 10 pm last night

I just hope people who are doing this are pleased with themselves. Drone or not, this is absolutely ruining Christmas for 1000's of people.

Re the first drone, police have interviewed a 'person of interest'....

Bloody sickening....

Edited to add the BBC have just shown a video of the device they think is a drone. It was certainly 'something' flying about in the airspace....

Person of interest is a YouTube pranker who was posting up aerial images and stating he did it.
Aerial images were from 2 years ago in daily mail.
His name is ally law.

And no one is pleased with themselves, because no one is doing it.
But like the public, people have already made up their minds without any evidence whatsoever.
Job done, no point keeping drone now.

Oh, and that video.
Was also the same video as yesterday,
A phantom sized device (not the "believed to be" industrial sized drone) in an unidentified piece of airspace, literally could be anywhere.
If anyone knows how to check lamp post codes, you'll find the location, and the BBC have cut that part...

I've said enough now, done with trying to defend against media putting up bullsh## that has been unconfirmed, unverified and unsubstantiated at best.

You have to ask just who is making these unconfirmed sightings. They are either confirmed or uncomfirmed so maybe tell people just who has reported seeing one?
