More infoIn the vision Bran has of young Eddard, you see Eddard climbing the steps of the tower to release his sister who is audibly in discomfort,
What we will soon enough learn is that in that tower she is giving birth to her child of rap3 by Rhaegar Targaryan. As all the targaryan bloodline is being wiped out and she cannot bear to lose her child, the (honourable remember) ned stark safe keeps the child by saying it is his b,stard by a barmaid when in fact Jon snow is the child of fire (targaryan) and ice (Stark) ned suffers the stain on his name, but for honorable reasons and for his sister

I thoroughly enjoyed last nights episode!
The entire sequence at Kings Landing at the start was beautifully shot and very cinematic. Poor Tommen though! As much as I disliked his weak rule I didn’t like seeing him go like that. Loved John Snow getting crowned King in the North and who can forget the Frey pie!
It was also great to see so many of the story lines get tidied up and ready for the next season.
Just have to get through the next 10 months to see more now

Get your fill of the programme while you can......
Game of Thrones - the record-breaking fantasy drama TV series - will end after its eighth season, American broadcaster HBO has confirmed.
HBO programming chief Casey Bloys made the announcement at the Television Critics Association's conference.
The seventh season - made up of seven episodes instead of the usual 10 - is expected in summer next year, while the final season will be in 2018.

I was expecting 7 seasons, so I'm happy with this
Shame the next one will only be 7 episodes! Although, if they all of the same quality as 'Hardhome', I'll be happy!
Who do think should sit on the Iron Throne guys? My choice is Davos Seaworth!
