So the new season will start in March and Australia was planned as usual to be the opening track. Now it looks set to be cancelled. (March 21st)

I have heard via someone who lives in Australia that although Covid related, nothing to do with that per se. More due to the fact, they are not prepared to run it without spectators. It's a street circuit and they make millions from the fans and ticket prices.

I'm inclined to agree with that. The Covid Bubble teams have put in place seemed to work well, 3 drivers out of 20 catching a mild dose and 3 team staff...

It means that the Bahrain Grand Prix scheduled for 28 March now looks poised to become the 2021 season opener.

In actual fact Bottas was 2nd but with 3 place grid penalty drops to 5th

Look at Norris again, absolutley solid driving this year. Future British world champion one day I hope, be great to see him get a win for McLaren.

Totally agree  @Anonymous  and making Ricciardo look like an amateur.

I thought some time back that Danny had it in him to be a world champion. Now he is being owned by a 22 year old kid.

Pleased to see Ferrari falling by the wayside as well. Gasly headed the leaderboard at one time.

Such a pity Bottas got that penalty ...because now Perez moves up to 4th to give support to Max.

Oh well bring it on tomorrow.

My grandson, a Max fan, will be coming to watch it here. Should be exciting

At last I can say finally, the fastest car won today by 38 seconds. Well done Red Bull and Max.

Lewis 2nd with the fastest lap. Bottas 3rd.
