Although the season has yet to begin and we won't see the cars till next month when testing begins, I will start this thread off by wishing Lewis Hamilton a Happy 35th Birthday
This may be the year he wins his 7th WDC equalling Michael Schumacher. Who knows? He will certainly have Ferrari and the Red Bulls chasing him. Also with some luck and more power in the Honda engine, I am expecting McLaren to be in the mix as well....

Just to say Ayrton Senna would have been 60 today. My favourite driver of all time (before LH)

Yes we will. Lewis has been so successful at Mercedes because they have allowed him to pursue outside interests. Music, Fashion etc etc.
Ferrari would not allow that.
Add to that the Tifosi are a bunch of *******, who openly shout monkey chants when LH wins.
They would love to snap him up if there was a chance of him winning a WDC for them...but they couldn't afford him.
Many people think it would be an honour to drive for Ferrari. Why? They haven't won a WDC since 2007. Asswipes.

So nearly a month after we last posted and 9 cancelled races so far, it looks as if we are going for a June/July start and probably behind closed doors. Better than nothing I suppose

Just been announced on BBC news. Silverstone have issued a statement to the effect that IF the British GP goes ahead on July 19th, it will be behind closed doors
My grandson is gutted. He was bought two tickets for Silverstone this year. A Christmas gift before all this crisis started and changed our lives .

Sebastian Vettel is to leave Ferrari at the end of the year after contract talks between the two broke down with no agreement.
The move, which is expected to be officially announced imminently, throws the future of the 32-year-old four-time world champion into doubt.

Yes I heard this via my F1 feed last night. No surprise really, they weren't going to pay him big bucks when he has been consistently outclassed by Leclerc last season. Now the rumour mill will start...
Lewis also out of contract at the end of the season???

It looks like Sainz to Ferrari and Ricciardo to McLaren
Leaving Vettel where exactly? Can't see him going to Renault. I hope they bring Hulkenberg back.
