FP2. A few incidents. Bottas and Grosjean came together. Grosjean needs a new floor. Being investigated. Leclerc clipped the wall but limited damage.
Renault and Ferrari both did well getting Danny Ric and Seb Vettel back out for FP2

Lewis has been asked by the team to wear No 1 on his car. He could wear that number all next year but never does. He says 44 is is his number and that is what brings him luck. So I don't expect to see it on for FP2. They will have taken the photos for the team and that will be it.
As an aside, Vettels wife gave birth to their 3rd child, they now have a son. Bottas has announced with sadness that him and his wife Emilia are divorcing. Sad for them.
Wonderful for Seb Vettel - I understand he is a big family man - congratulations on the birth of their son - Sad for Bottas and is wife Emilia Divorce is a difficult thing to go through.

FP3 results. Ferrari are definitely slow(er). Lets see what's on the cards for Qualifying.
Until the last 3 minutes Hamilton was leading, until Max got into gear...

Qualifying of the last race. Pretty mighty from Mercedes. Lewis on pole.
Leclerc annoyed that he missed the flag for his final hot lap, due to everyone backing up
Remember these results below show Bottas in 2nd. He actually starts at the back of the grid due to engine penalties. So the start line up will be Max next to Lewis

Although, Lando Norris was 7th. A brilliant effort from him beating his team mate Carlos Sainz.
Roll on the race tomorrow at 13.10. I have a feeling this will be won by whoever gets the best start from Lewis or Max. Or strategy

I've seen more exciting action at a morgue! I think the only thing worth watching was qualifying.
I find Abu Dhabi such a anti climax.. especially to this great season!!

I actually love the track and the fact it's a night race. However you are right today @Anonymous. Once Max failed to get Lewis on the first bend it was game over in terms of winning.
There was more action with the best of the rest fighting for final position of the season.
Of course we are still waiting to see if Leclerc is disqualified. Ferrari broke the rules and his car was found to have a significant amount more fuel than they had declared.
Edit: They have been fined instead. $50,000. What a swiz. The rules are black and white really.
Leaves the door wide open for others to cheat and accept a piddling fine!!
