I hate Monaco, most boring of all F1 but I'll be watching to see the tributes to Niki Lauda

Monaco FP1 and 2 today.

Lovely to see the cars and teams with pictures of Niki Lauda all over the paddock. Some are wearing black armbands, cars have Thanks Niki on them, some drivers have helmets with NL on. 

Anyway Lewis is laying down some fast laps at P1

Having said that, Max isn't far behind him....

It's great that the teams are being seen to pay their respects.

FP2 was a bit different.

Lewis still top with Bottas 2nd as Max had a problem with his car. He couldn't get out till 12 minutes before the end of P2.

I tell you this Lewis isn't saying anything to the media about Lauda. He posted a lovely message on instagram but Mercedes pulled him out of the drivers press conference as it would have been all about him not Niki.

However the way he is driving this weekend, I think that's for Niki.
