Thought I would start off a thread, bit of friendly banter not too heavy and an opportunity to express your ideas about your favourite team.
What are you hoping for in the January transfer market?
As a Liverpool fan I am hoping for cover for Mane and the front 3.

So who will be the first side to be relegated this season ?
Any advance on Rotherham United, who are something like 20 points adrift at the bottom of the Championship ?

So pleased for Coventry City @Cleoriff. What a game that was!
Was impressed with them when they played Kent’s finest Maidstone Utd in the last round. They were very respectful and didn’t take Maidstone for granted.
So good luck to them in the Semi’s (unless they play Chelsea)!

Totally agree @J9el. A Sky Blue fan since the days they played at Highfield Road, I was so proud of the way they played Maidstone. Premier League teams have been known to play their "B Team". I know Cov haven't got as many players to put out a second team but they were professional, played hard football and gracious.
Gave Maidstone a great deal of respect. 😉

I remember when Coventry played Chelsea at the Ricoh in a round of the FA cup.
2009 and our grandson had eventually decided Chelea were 'his' team. My husband got up early to join the queue at the Ricoh for tickets. When he got there, the queue was all round the stadium about 2 miles.
The stewards were out counting customers and asking how many tickets each wanted.
The cut off was about 100 back from my husband!
We did tell our grandson who was 10 at the time, that he would be standing with Cov City fans and could NOT cheer for Chelsea. 😂
We bought him a Cov City shirt and scarf. Bless him, he was a darling. Cheered every time City got near the goal. 🤣
Chelea played their top team and Drogba was the grandsons favourite player.
Didier scored the first goal after 15 minutes. Ben jumped up and said YES! A poke by his grandad reminded him who was supposedly cheering for! 😂
He did tell me 'Coventry played very well Grandma' (even though they lost 2-0 to Chelsea)
Ah well the good old days. 😉

Hahaha that’s a really lovely story @Cleoriffand I can imagine it’s a game your grandson will never forget.
I still think the FA Cup is special and saw the effect of what a cup run did for the town of Maidstone down here. For them to get as far as they did and get to play both Ipswich and Coventry was unbelievable.
Good luck to the Sky Blues whoever they get to play. I remember watching them beat Spurs in 1987, that was a great cup final!
