Thought I would start off a thread, bit of friendly banter not too heavy and an opportunity to express your ideas about your favourite team.

What are you hoping for in the January transfer market?

As a Liverpool fan I am hoping for cover for Mane and the front 3.

Are you a Maidstone United fan @J9el ? 

I remember their short stay in the Fourth Division in the early 1990s. I think both Maidstone United and Aldershot went into liquidation in successive seasons, although both "phoenix" clubs seem to be doing OK at the moment. 👍

Brilliant games in F A Cup Quarter Finals.

Gutted Liverpool were beaten in extra time by Man Utd.

But so pleased Coventry City are through to the Semi Finals.

I’m a lifelong Chelsea fan, but Maidstone are my second team since moving to the garden of England a few years ago. They did so well this year, George and the lads put the town on the map! 

I remember the club before liquidation too, they’ve done so well to get back where they are now!

Very much so, it is always good to see a club reform and go from strength to strength. In addition to Maidstone United, I can readily think of Gateshead, Scarborough, Bradford Park Avenue, Macclesfield, Newport County and Dartford who are reformed or "phoenix" clubs. 👍
