Wonderful @TallTrees ๐
Also, don't forget the millions of calories going into your system ๐
Still, it's CHRISTMAS, so who cares? ๐ค ๐

Oh yes @Cleoriff
Small portions may be the answer.
When food is very tasty that answer is very difficult๐
Well I have done lots of gardening so I am as skinny as a rake ๐
Pruned 6 apple trees and 4 pear trees , sweeping up the leaves from
5 Oaks before and after the storms and when there are storms
all the other tree leaves arrive here from neighbouring
gardens, it is regular work has to be fitted in whether like it or not!
There is so much "Stuff" that 2 Garden Wheelie bins are full
ready for collection by the council every fortnight ๐ฑ
Garden Bins Collected last week
The 2 are nearly full again.

With lots of eating lined up for tomorrow, I am keeping it simple today - sandwich at lunchtime and beans on toast in an hour or so. However, I do like the look of your strawberry trifle - home-made I assume ?

What do reindeers eat ?

I often make trifle @Oxonian
I make the sponge cake too and soak in some sherry
Then dissolve the Hartleys jelly add strawberries or raspberries,
home made custard topped with whipped cream and a few more berries
and more whipped cream.
The idea of a lighter lunch today is a very good idea.

MOSS @Oxonian ๐คฃ
but I have seen this
PS
The Deer (not Reindeer) that roam here eat roses, apple tree leaves, pear tree leaves (I know ruin my apple trees that are kept short) All the bushes they can get their lips around.
Sometimes it is useful as they don't damage the bushes and they do a good job of pruning!
They can jump over fences and settle into munch and munch then off they go or sometimes curl up and sleep.

What did they say on a fresh cream advertisment years ago - naughty but nice ?
That sounds a bit like your trifle. It certainly would not help the waistline.
