Ok I've done it again seen someone's post(Darrengf) and thought I'd continue it with a thread:)

I want to do a top 5 or 10 of the fastest connecting phones:)

Final target is to hopefully end up with a UK map with the average speed for the location. Be a great resource for new members too see what's available in the area:) status checker only tells us so much:)

Rules are;
1) You can only do it from your house(well trust you)
2) Three tests a 2g a 3G and a wifi (wifi is optional)
3) Use speed test app
4) Post the pictures for proof

5) Post your general location (e.g. I live in lower earley(specific area) I'd post reading(city) as my location)
6) Don't talk about phone club

Last night was amazing and was also nice to meet Leonard and buffbuff too. Shame you didnt come Toby.

Oh and I have some speed testing at every train station I called at too shortly to be updated.

Well As Promised I did a speed test at Every Train station down and from London yesterday. Also did a speed test at the event in Covent Garden. (You can see the times that the tests were done and Derby and Chesterfield increased from day to night time and Leisteer decresed. (It was faster in the day to night)

The speed tests were all carried out the same way.

I did 2 tests and ensure that the tests were fair and took the slowest of them. The tests were done on the iPhone 5 with no other apps open and in the same part of the train down and back (Again to make it fair)

Hey Toby, the testing last night was great fun. Got a chance to play around with some other phones, and had a really good chat with Leonard and darrengf. It was a shame you couldn't make it, but maybe next time.

Wow darrengf, I see the o2 event really got you in the testing mode last night.

At home in Bolton where my iphone struggled to get one bar of 3G and one Mb upload.
