Imagine you could have a dinner party with guests (live or dead), who would you choose?

Here`s mine:

John Lennon - musician and "peacenik"

Ghandi - non-violent direct action activist - I`d ask how he kept calm in face of aversity

David Blaine - magician and entertainer (met/seen him)

Richard Trevethick - inventor - steam engine, locomotive, motor car before Watt, Stevenson, Benz

Dave Allen - one of the funniest comedians ever on TV in my opinion

Peter Kay - now Britain`s funniest comedian in my opinion

Steven Gerrard - Liverpool and England footballer - an alltime great in my opinion

OK so not everyone - or should that be no-one - is gonna agree with my choice.

Feel free to comment and add your own list - but please lets keep it friendly and polite

Thanks

Some people see things as they are and ask "Why?"; I dream of things that never were and ask "Why not?"

My guests would be:

Freddie Mercury and David Bowie the 2 best rock musicians ever

Will Smith a very funny man and so cool

Sir David and Lord Attenborough one an amazing nature documentary presenter and his brother an amazing actor and director

Sammy Davis, Jr to me the greatest entertainer ever: actor, singer and dancer. Also the 'fastest gun in the west'.

Chris and Liam Hemsworth they're just gorgeous actors and 2 of 3 acting brothers. Can't remember the 3rd brother's name.

Stellan, Alexander, Gustaf, Bill and Valter Skårsgaard father and sons, brilliant Swedish actors who fascinate me.

Lars and Mads Mikklesen 2 very talented Danish actors. Brothers.

Barbra Streisand the best female singer ever, in my opinion.

Sir Winston Churchill the most amazing and fascinating British politician

John F, Robert and Teddy Kennedy the best American politicians in my opinion.

Dames Barbara Winsor, Maggie Smith and Judy Dench and Julie Walters. 3 very talrnted actresses plus one funny lady who'd have some very interesting stories to tell.

Would need a very large table definitely.

Lover of all things Samsung. Currently using Samsung Galaxy S10 Plus 128gb

I forgot to invite someone ... ... ...

Professor Noel Fitzpatrick ... aka The Supervet ... Cat Very Happy

I am reading his book, he came from very humble beginnings on a farm in Ireland ... with 'Jack Frost' on the window panes in Winter ... remember 'Jack Frost'? before central heating in homes came about

I heard him recently on BBC Radio Four's programme The Infinite Monkey Cage ... Noel has a very infectious laugh smiling

A wonderful man. So skilful and innovative. We need one or two surgeons like Noel Fitzpatrick operating on humans...
